ABOUT
Lara was born and raised in the scenic town of Montreux, Switzerland—right at the foot of the Alps and overlooking Lake Geneva. From a young age, Lara has always been drawn to horses. She began riding since the age of 7 and hasn’t stopped since. In fact, she is skilled in dressage and even competed in Show Jumping for a few years.
Following her upbringing in Europe, Lara moved to the United States in the summer of 2010 to attend a well-known aeronautical university where she earned both her Bachelor of Science degree, as well as her pilot and flight instructor certificates. Shortly following, she began her career as an airline pilot, which she still very much enjoys to this day; however, her true passion is horses.
Although Lara has always enjoyed riding during her free time, it was always the special connection with horses that she yearned for. Through her years of experience, she learned that many horses live in discomfort and pain (unbeknownst to their owners and trainers) and that many behavioral issues can stem from this. Lara hopes to give back to the horses as much as she can, by helping them feel and perform better.
Lara received her training and certification from the prestigious Equissage International, Inc., the most renowned equine sports massage therapy school in the United States. Equissage International, Inc. is the undisputed leader in the equine sports massage industry and has pioneered the way for a new approach in improving a horse’s performance and well-being through equine sports massage.
